How do dancers from an academy outside Portland become a web hit all the way in South Korea?

Students from the Groove Nation dance academy in Vancouver, Washington posted a performance in mid-December of choreography based around Korean Pop Music (also known as K-Pop). The clip has since picked up over half of a million views, with the vast majority of those views coming from users in South Korea, where the video had reportedly been picked up by message boards and Korean music sites.

Yesterday, new footage of a second performance was among the Most Shared videos in South Korea. Today, new video remains one of the Most Viewed videos in that country among 13-17 year old female users, roughly the same demographic as the girls performing on the court.
